ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The European Commission has created the ODR platform in order to promote and facilitate the alternative resolution of disputes between consumers and traders concerning online sales agreements or services, i.e. situations where traders or their agents offer goods or services on a website or through any other electronic means, which are ordered or subscribed to by consumers through the same channels.

III - WHAT IS CLASSED AS PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is any information relating to the identity of a given subject or through which a subject may be identified, directly or indirectly, namely their name, identification document number, location data, electronic identifiers or any specific item(s) relating to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, religious or social identity.
Examples of personal data:

- Identification document number: Identity Card, Taxpayer Identification Number, Driving Licence
- Addresses:
- Physical, such as mailing address
- Electronic: e-mail address, webpage, Facebook page, etc.
- Biometric data – Height, weight, distinguishing physical features
- Genetic data

Parental consent is required for processing personal data pertaining to persons under the age of 16.

IV - DATA COLLECTED
Data collected include the following:
- Name
- Citizen card number
- Taxpayer identification number
- Address
- E-mail address
- Telephone numbers
- Speciality
- Professional association number and Specialty

V - PURPOSES
Personal data will be used for the following purposes:
- Provision of services and products traded (according to an agreement signed by both parties);
- Transaction Management (in order to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements);
- Marketing Campaigns and Institutional Communications (if authorised).

VI - PROTECTION MEASURES
We adopt adequate technical and organisational measures in order to ensure data security, according to the nature and scope of data and the context and purposes of data processing, as well as potential risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals, namely the following:
- Dynamic measures - reviewed and updated as required;
- Technical and organisational measures, such as pseudonymisation, during processing method definition and data processing;
- By default, only the required data for any specific purpose will be processed.

VII - PERSONAL DATA RETENTION
Personal data are only stored for the length of time strictly required for the aforementioned purposes or in order to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Following the aforementioned period, personal data will be anonymised or destroyed/deleted in a secure manner.

VIII - SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be disclosed to subcontractors should this prove absolutely necessary for ensuring the provision of the service(s) contracted.
However, data will only be disclosed if we are able to ensure that the parties involved adopt adequate security measures.
We may be obliged to disclose your personal data to authorities or third parties, whenever required by law, in which case we will have limited control over the use and processing of your data.
Only subcontractors or other third parties whose involvement is required in order to ensure the provision of the service(s) contracted will be authorised to access your personal data, namely the following:
- Nutritionists;
- Logistics and transport companies.

IX - EXERCISING OF YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights concerning your personal data:
- Access;
- Correction;
- Deletion;
- Imposing data processing limitations;
- Opposing data processing;
- Requesting data portability.
To exercise any of the rights listed above, visit the company’s premises or contact the person responsible for data processing.
Additionally, you have the right to withdraw or change the terms of your authorisation concerning use of your personal data by Dietmed.
You will not be allowed to exercise the aforementioned rights should your personal data be required to safeguard the public interest, namely for purposes of detection and prevention of criminal activities, or when protected by professional secrecy.
